The type of planning that goes into our service varies somewhat on the type of event we're playing. Things to consider are genres of music, all the necessary song cues, hosting style, the venue, the setup, and much more.
Make Sure That Your Wedding is Perfect
Some people prepare way ahead of time more than others when it comes to their one and only wedding day. But for those who haven't, are you properly prepared?
There's so much to consider when planning the cocktail hour and reception. Do you need your DJ to be set up in both areas? What kind of music do you and your spouse like? Should you consider what your guests might want to hear?
Even if you're unsure of what to choose for the event, we're here to help. Some think that being a DJ is just making a quick playlist and hitting play, but any DJ worth his or her salt knows that it requires a deep knowledge of music as well the ability to entertain and put on a show.
We've hosted many different types of events, and that comes with the experience to help you choose the right songs for the right moments: what you'll play during your first dance, during dances with parents, the cake-cutting ceremony, and so on. Over our time performing, we've developed quite a sense for what captures the mood. Need a 'Do Not Play' List?
Many people who use our services often include a 'do not play' list when it comes to certain genres of specific songs. This keeps our musical selections closer in line with everyone's tastes and liking, and is a great way to keep any practical jokers from doing anything that would make your special event anything less than perfect.

Do you want us to adhere strictly to your own personal playlist or do you want to leave room for guest requests? We can fine tune this process down to a ratio to allow you to have control over the event while giving your friends and family a little freedom to have some fun.
